Horoscopes

The word “horoscope” comes from two Latin words: “Horo” means “hour” and “Scope” means “view.” So, a “horoscope” is a “view of the hour.”

One way to describe a horoscope is as a description of certain heavenly energies based on patterns in the sky, like the ones you see in magazines or newspapers.

Astrologers call the astrological chart of a person or a moment in time a “horoscope.” This chart is based on where the planets are in the sidereal or tropical Zodiac. Date, place, and time of birth are used in the calculations. Because of this, a horoscope is just as unique as a fingerprint.

When an astrologer works with a chart that was made at the right time, the energies in it are specific to that person. Be aware that the energies of the planets and signs in a person’s chart show how that person can express himself or herself.
